Using Labaro

Keyboard shortcuts

Every shortcut Labaro adds, how they get along with your services’ own, and what’s missing.

Switching services

Shortcut What it does
⌘1 to ⌘9 Go to your first nine services, in the sidebar’s order. A disabled service keeps its number, but can’t be picked.
⌘↓ Go to the next service down. After the last one, it goes back to the top. Disabled services are skipped.
⌘↑ Go to the next service up.

The Services menu lists the same services, so you can check which number is which.

⌃⌥⌘N Check every sleeping service for new messages now (Debug → Check Notifications)
⌘Q Quit Labaro

⌘Z Undo

⌘X Cut
⌘C Copy
⌘V Paste
⌘A Select All

Inside a service

Labaro’s shortcuts work even while you’re typing in a service. Labaro sees every ⌘ shortcut first, and passes on the ones it doesn’t use.

  • A service’s own shortcuts still work, as long as Labaro doesn’t use them, such as ⌘K in Slack.
  • ⌘↑ and ⌘↓ switch services, even in a message you’re writing. They don’t move to the start or end of the text.

In Labaro’s own windows

  • In a text field in a service’s Edit window, Return saves what you typed, and Esc puts back what was there.
  • When Labaro asks before deleting a service, Return deletes it, and Esc cancels.

Not available yet

Labaro doesn’t have these browser features yet, so their shortcuts don’t work either:

  • Reload (⌘R). Right-click the service’s icon and choose Reload instead.
  • Zoom in and out (⌘+, ⌘−, ⌘0).
  • Find on the page (⌘F). Most services have a search of their own.
  • Print (⌘P).
  • Back and Forward.
